An amazingly emotional day with the dapper Chris & Daniel!

When I met Chris & Daniel for the first time, you could tell just how nervous they were about being the centre of attention, but they also had so much love for each other that I knew as long as we connected, they would soon get past their fears and be a wonderful couple to photograph…and I was totally right!

They picked the lovely Milling Barn to get wed, and although the weather on the day was a challenge, we managed to find the time to get outside and explore the awesome surroundings, making the most of the wooded area and the old historic buildings that surround the more modern parts of the venue. It’s a great mix of old and new, and it was the perfect back drop to a fantastic day.

I don’t want to reveal too much on a personal note about Chris & Daniel, but I can say that the incredible journey that they have been on, not just as a couple but also as individuals, was both acknowledged and celebrated on this day, and the overriding message was LOVE IS THE ANSWER. The fun was hugely evident all day long of course, but the raw emotion during the ceremony, and some quite wonderful heartfelt speeches, was the defining memory for me, and it was genuine privilege to have been part of it. LOVE IS LOVE 🙂
