JUSTINE & LESLIES AWESOME EPIC WELSH WEDDING PREVIEW! Here is a preview of a fantastic wedding I captured Saturday in windy wet Wales, but first, a little bit of history for you…
…way back in the mid to late 00’s, when I was first beginning on my photography journey, I was really active on the local music scene shooting gigs and promos for bands in and around Cambridgeshire. It was during this time I did my first ever promo shoot with the band The Mono Effect, amazing guys and lovely people who I’m fortunate to call my friends now, and it was through these guys I first met Justine, a friend of ME bassist David Blair in the pit at one of their gigs, and she was also shooting but using a FILM camera (remember those?)! UTTER MADNESS!
A totally crazy bundle of creative energy, Justine and I became good friends, and followed each others work for years and years, also bumping into each other at awesome gigs, and always comparing techniques and differences between digital and film. The stuff Justine captured was ace, and she also became one of my biggest fans and supporters, and the confidence that gave me was massive in the early years of me trying to learn and grow as a photographer, so it was an insane privilege for her to ask me to photograph her wedding to Les (or Legend Les as I like to call him) this past weekend. It was a pleasure guys!
