CHRIS⚡LA TOGETHER IN ELECTRIC GREENS! La & Chris CHRIS⚡LA TOGETHER IN ELECTRIC GREENS! La & Chris absolutely smashed this super chilled & unconventional wedding over the scorching Bank Holiday at the Tivoli in Cambridge, literally the only formality they had was the ceremony itself, choosing instead to do what they really wanted, which was to enjoy beers, play the shuffleboard, organise a team mini golf championship and eat pizza! I adore that they decided to do it their way, and they nailed it, not only looking effortlessly cool AF in those outfits (WHAT A DRESS BY THE WAY - BOTH OF THEM HAHA) but also embracing the occasion with some cool portraits of themselves, despite them both telling me they were not photogenic (newsflash - yes you freaking are!) and both hating being in photographs (erhh you look MIGHTY FINE together guys!). I had a blast hanging out with these two legends and the absolute loons that they call their friends and family, honestly can't think of a minute that wasn't filled with laughter and mischief, how is this my job? GUSTAV⚡KATIE ROCK N ROLL DREAMS COMES TRUE! Holy GUSTAV⚡KATIE ROCK N ROLL DREAMS COMES TRUE! Holy moly, what a total BANGER of a Mulberry House wedding with the awesome Katie & Gus...and STEVE & BRUCE & OZZY! I knew from the very first seconds of chatting to these guys we were going to have a blast of a wedding, they are so well suited, and being metal heads like myself, we got on like the true brothers & sisters of metal that we are! We also had the pleasure of their amazing frenchies OZZY & BRUCE join us for some photos proudly wearing their JUDAS POOCH & BARK SABBATH battle jackets, some hilarious and emotional speeches, a brilliant live performance of the DISTURBED version of Sound Of Silence that went into SYSTEM OF A DOWN for a first dance followed by a golden hour champagne spray to end the day on a high! We had only crossed paths at work with Danny once but had seen lots of his photos on socials. The thing we always loved about them was the guest reactions. From going through our gallery, sometimes it's almost like Danny knows a reaction is about to happen before it does, rather than just catching it in the nick of time; his photos are so present and natural and just completely took us back to how we felt that day. He captured the joy, laughter and emotion on our (and our favourite people's) faces so effortlessly. Not only that, he brings a super relaxed, professional and fun vibe to the day. LISA⚡JASON THEY SAID THEY HATED PHOTOGRAPHS OF TH LISA⚡JASON THEY SAID THEY HATED PHOTOGRAPHS OF THEMSELVES BUT JUST LOOK AT THEM! L&J = WEDDING WINNERS ❤️ It's been a minute since I have shot a wedding at the lovely Barnsdale Lodge, it's always been a venue I have enjoyed though, so I was delighted when the fantastic Lisa & Jason asked me to be their photographer at this lush location. I loved their enquiry, but when they told me 'We're both quite awkward in front of a camera and look weird in very posed pictures! You'll have a job making us look as attractive as your other couples...' it made me laugh, not least because I hear this from so many couples that book in with me, but because I know for a fact that EVERYONE is photogenic with the right photographer and my speciality is awkward people haha! I told them they would be too excited to be self-conscious,and I also knew that Lisa's Italian heritage would absolutely come to the front in her dress and outfit choices, so they would look BLOODY AMAZING and just look at them both! Totally smashed it and them shoes...LEGENDS 🙂 The whole day was incredible fun, there were so many children running around having the time of their lives (I was asked not to post them so I have not but those kids were INSANE), and both myself and John had a great time chatting with the lovely guests and capturing this day in the relaxed and unintrusive manner that Jason & Lisa wanted.
