What a BRILLIANT and unforgettable day over at the stunning Stubton Hall for my lovely mate Ben who did the mighty deed and married his amazing Yorkshire Lass, Cass! I have been friends with Ben for around 15 years now, I got to know him when he was fronting the quite fantastic local band Tu Amore, so when he asked me to capture his wedding I was beyond honoured! The day was a laugh fest from start to finish, Cass is a genuine force of nature, and from the moment I took a photo of her MOH Christie reading the wedding newspaper while straddling the toilet, well 😂 it set the tone for a day full of laugher, mischief, love and emotion. ⚡WHAT A PRIVILEGE MY JOB IS!⚡ They are not on ⚡WHAT A PRIVILEGE MY JOB IS!⚡ They are not on social media, but Niki & Mike said I can share some images from their wonderful South Farm wedding day here, and honestly getting to work with a more mature couple was a lovely change and so incredibly rewarding! They didn't want any fuss, so they only had me along for a few hours, and the love and excitement was wonderful to witness and capture - I was grinning the whole three hours I was with them as they are just perfect for each other 🙂 It feels like magic doing this job for the lovely humans that trust me, it really is the best way of dealing with what is often a very dark and indifferent world; getting to see people at their very happiest, their most venerable, and honestly their most hopeful, really does give you a perspective on humanity that many of us simply don't see enough of in our everyday lives. TOM⚡CHLOE A STUNNING AUTUMN GRANARY BARNS BANGE TOM⚡CHLOE A STUNNING AUTUMN GRANARY BARNS BANGER! The moody light, wind, rain and stunning evening autumn light made for a beautiful and romantic October wedding day for the brilliant Chloe & Tom over at the ever epic Granary Estates! The morning was a total laugh fest, and those vibes set the tone for the whole day, with a really cosy and warm ceremony followed by some fun & mischief in the courtyard as the weather finally played ball, allowing us some fantastic if windswept moments outside! Tom & Chloe were a real joy to capture, we had previously had a pre-wedding shoot as they were a little nervous about being photographed, and I think that helped as they were relaxed as anything during couples time and I think that shows in the genuine joy you can see in their faces. The speeches were some of the funniest and creative I have heard this year, and I especially enjoyed the fact Tom had some tricks up his sleeve (literally haha), with the laughter and love in the room for both of these genuine child hood sweethearts literally filling the room! Josie & Aaron, who met at a wedding of their mutual mates, had a brilliant day down in Kent at the stunning Chapel House (my first and hopefully not my last wedding at this awesome venue), doing the mighty deed surrounded by a huge guest list of wonderful family & friends! The emotion and laughter that dominated the day was heartfelt, raw and totally spontaneous, and it set the tone for some fantastic vows, speeches and top quality banter throughout.
