Sun 26th Jan, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Huntingdon, 11am-2pm 🤘 New to owning a camera, or just not sure where to start in actually using it, then join me on Sunday 26th January at Hinchingbrooke Country Park for an Introduction To Photography workshop 🙂 This will be a relaxed group learning workshop for beginners where we will go through the basics of using the shiny new toy you have, from understanding what all the dials mean (P for professional obviously), to getting your head around the dreaded EXPOSURE TRIANGLE (OF DEATH), to then putting that all into practice (using the rules of composition) to take some banger pics you can be proud of by the time we have finished PLUS time to quiz me about anything you want to know about photography! SHABBA! Cost will be £50 a person for the 3 hour session, you will need to bring your own camera (all brands welcome), and the workshop will be outside (so it's weather dependent). If you're interested drop me a DM or an email (below), also as I have already been asked, I'm very happy for any parents/guardians attending, who also have an U16 child wanting to learn as well, to bring them along for just £25 each. INTERNATIONAL MENS DAY! I'm a big advocate of men INTERNATIONAL MENS DAY! I'm a big advocate of men talking to each other about their mental health struggles, so I just wanted to share this amazing message I had from Kris after I captured his wedding last week to Danielle, without going into specific details we ended up having an unexpected chat about previously being in abusive relationships before meeting our now wives, we hugged it out and I then shot this photograph of him as he began to realise he was putting that firmly behind him to start a new chapter. "I want to really thank you for our little pre-ceremony chat. It's crazy to me that in that small moment where things got the better of me, I'd got a man stood beside me who could relate and help me through. Thank you, mate, from the bottom of my (our) heart." It's hard to describe how much that little message meant to me, the truth is you never really get over suffering abuse from a partner, you just learn to live with it, and in all honesty I think I needed that chat as much as Kris did. DANIELLE⚡KRIS END OF WEDDING SEASON WINNER! The DANIELLE⚡KRIS END OF WEDDING SEASON WINNER! There are weddings and then there are WEDDINGS, and I wrapped up an incredible 2024 season with the amazing Danielle & Kris at the stunning Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall who took an inspired DIY approach to bringing their vision to life in a truly spectacular way! JUST LOOK AT THIS INSANE WEDDING ❤️ While Danielle was the creative force behind this incredible aesthetic (oh and LOOK AT THAT DRESS HOLY MOLY), it was Kris who brought all the beautiful emotion to it, what a team they and their beautiful daughters make, and to say it was a privilege to witness these two wonderful souls tie the knot would be a huge understatement. WOW 😍 My favourite personal moment was the speeches when Kris spoke with such pride about his love for Danielle and his adopted daughters, it brought tears to my eyes as it reminded me of the admiration I have for my own step father for taking on the responsibility of me and my brother back in the day, so seeing the reaction from Danielle's girls to his promise to always be there for them really resonated with me. ASHLEE⚡JOSH THE SWYNFORD AUTUMN BANGER! Oh I do ASHLEE⚡JOSH THE SWYNFORD AUTUMN BANGER! Oh I do love the autumnal vibes this time of year when I get to shoot a wedding, so when Ashlee and Josh booked me for this I was mega excited, and although we had rain all day we also had enough of a break to get out and use the incredible colour show at the ever stunning Swynford Manor to nail some portraits and wedding party shots, HAPPY DAYS! I met Ashlee and Josh way back in 2019 when Ash was a bridesmaid at the brilliant wedding of Jody & Derry, when I say Ashlee is the life and soul of the party I mean it, and we had a proper laugh with non-stop banter that whole day, so I was stoked when she stayed in contact and asked me to capture her own wedding to the handsome boy wonder John West...oh sorry I mean Josh West (NOT the tuna guy despite the registrars insistence during the ceremony haha)! As you can see from these photos, we had a lot of FUN (it was literally non-stop), and I had a blast capturing it all! AZIM⚡BECCI YEAH BOI, AZIM DID THE MIGHTY DEED! AZIM⚡BECCI YEAH BOI, AZIM DID THE MIGHTY DEED! Oh my word, what a joy it was to capture my awesome mate Azim's incredible wedding to Becci over at the stunning Mill Barns, it's been over 15 years since I first met Mr Jim Azim Shah, and he told me on one of our very first conversations that one day I would shoot his wedding and HERE WE ARE! YES MATE 🤘 Becci looked STUNNING in that dress, the whole morning was a laugh fest from start to finish, and wow what a ceremony room, talk about MAGICAL! The emotion and happiness I saw when Azim & Becci first let their eyes meet at the top of that aisle was something to really behold and what an immense privilege it was that I got to capture it, just WOW! The rest of the day honestly flew by in such a blur it's hard to really explain, one minute I was having proper belly laughs with the bridal party, the next I was in awe of one of the best speeches I have EVER heard from one of the youngest speakers I have ever seen, and then it was party times and a whirlwind of dance moves, laser reaching, and a final hero shot on the bridge before wrapping it all up with a group shot under the LOVE sign...I mean it was PERFECT! Massive thanks to Becci and Azim for having me along, it was unreal, and I love you both so much, how fortunate you both are to have found each other!
